Dear Jim and Elaine,

We would like to thank you for loaning us your truck during the holiday season. We were able to assist over eight hundred households on the North Shore with food, clothing and toys this holiday season. The use of your truck made our pick ups much easier and also allowed us to use our funds in other areas of need in our community.

In November we traveled to the Boston Food Pantry to pick up 300 turkeys and vegetables for our Thanksgiving baskets as well as food for our ongoing food pantry for both the Salem and Beverly locations. In December we traveled around the North Shore picking up toys, clothing, and bikes for our Christmas toy program. Donations were great and the use of your vehicle ensured they had the time to set up and distribute in a timely manner. We appreciate the use of your vehicle to complete our tasks and hope we will be able to work with you again next year. Thank you.

I hope that all is well back home. I wish that the market improves up North. It is flat down here as well. We love everything about North Carolina: weather, people, geography, real estate taxes--ours are about--sit down for this, $2100. per year, homeowners insurance ($1000.00 savings) auto insurance, shopping, and most importantly our beautiful home.

Elaine, there's something I want you to know. The day that I was about go make an offer on this home, I called you and asked your opinion.

I was very nervous and anxious as one could imagine, especially in light of the market back North, and keeping in mind that deals sometimes fall through. You helped me greatly when you said, "Peter, most deals go through, it's understandable that you want to protect your family, but I suggest that you go through with the deal. (The seller was allowing us to withdraw, if the transaction did not close up North).
